Jay Binsfeld

General Southwest founder Jay Binsfeld received his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University in 1961 and his MBA from Indiana University in 1965. He started his insurance career in 1958 while attending graduate school.

Presented with the opportunity to escape the Wisconsin winters, Jay relocated to Phoenix in 1973.

He has 5 children and 8 grandchildren.
